This is a great song that one of my good friends shared with me. I love her voice too…
I have unanswered prayers
I have trouble I wish wasn't there
And I have asked a thousand ways
That You would take my pain away
That You would take my pain away
I am trying to understand
How to walk this weary land
Make straight the paths that crooked lie
Oh Lord, before these feet of mine
Oh Lord, before these feet of mine
When my world is shaking
Heaven stands
When my heart is breaking
I never leave Your hands
When You walked upon the Earth
You healed the broken, lost, and hurt
I know You hate to see me cry
One day You will set all things right
Yea, one day You will set all things right
When my world is shaking
Heaven stands
When my heart is breaking
I never leave Your hands
Your hands
Your hands that shape the world
Are holding me, they hold me still
Your hands that shape the world
Are holding me, they hold me still
When my world is shaking
Heaven stands
When my heart is breaking
I never leave You when...
When my world is shaking
Heaven stands
When my heart is breaking
I never leave...
I never leave Your hands

I heard this song for the first time the other day on my way back from work- I LOVE IT!! Tahnk you so much for posting about it so I can bookmark it!!
ReplyDeleteI love this song too! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting a link to this song, I had never heard it before. It's so beautiful, both the singer and the lyrics. I particularly like the line "one day you will set all things right", it's a perfect promise to hold onto during trials.
ReplyDeleteI just heard this song the other day as well! Loved it and was wondering who it was by. Thanks for posting this, I love the lyrics, especially, "I am trying to understand How to walk this weary land Make straight the paths that crooked lie Oh Lord, before these feet of mine."
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this song. I came from Coutney's blog. Praying for lots of strong and hearty swimmers!
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa. I have never read your blog before, but I had to share the story of how I found it today, because it shows that, with the Lord, there are no coincidences! My husband left me a voicemail while I was at work that he heard a JJ Heller song on the radio (we are relatively recent fans, so he doesn't know all her songs) and gave me the phrase "One day you will make all things right." So, I went to google the phrase and JJ Heller so I could find the lyrics and song so we could download it. I clicked on a website and started to copy the lyrics so I could paste them into an email to you...and then I looked at the blog it was posted on, saw the worship lyrics, then I read your "about me"...
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have been married for just over three years. We have been trying to conceive since February 2009. Needless to say, it was one of those bizarre God moments where I was just reminded of his presence.
I look forward to reading through your entries and getting to know your story. I don't have a blog personally, but I can definitely attest this journey has been one of the absolute hardest I have ever faced...
Thanks for sharing... Jenny
